  • Lightweight wall tents made of the highest quality synthetic material available.
  • The spike lightweight canvas tent is made of an extremely strong polyester material. 7 oz per square yard makes it approximately twice as strong as most other synthetic tents. The 7 oz polyester testing shows it is also 75% stronger than 10.1 oz canvas.
  • The seams have tape to help prevent leaks. However, we still recommend a fly for any tent to protect the roof from UV rays, dirt, and any possible leaks.
  • Peak height and tent weight by tent size are shown at the bottom of the page.
  • THIS TENT IS THE STRONGEST, MOST REINFORCED, AND BEST LIGHTWEIGHT WALL TENT AVAILABLE.

A Message From Our Owner, Rich

When I designed the lightweight wall tent, I wanted to make it stronger and more durable than other lightweight wall tents.

Standard Features

$200 WORTH OF FREE OPTIONS COMPARED TO OTHER TENT COMPANIES

  • FREE BACK DOOR OR BACK WINDOW: Free back door or back window, your choice. $50 free feature.
  • FREE DOUBLE LAYER ON RIDGE: Significantly reinforces the ridge. Some tent companies charge $75 to $200 for this feature.
  • FREE STORM FLAP/COLORADO DOOR: 8" storm flap with buckle protects front and back door zippers. It helps keep out the wind and is a $45 to $60 option at other tent companies.
  • FREE REINFORCED EAVE WITH WEBBING ENTIRE LENGTH OF EAVE: Much stronger than eaves with no reinforcement.
  • FREE STEEL D RINGS SEWN INTO WEBBING: Much stronger than lightweight wall tents with metal grommets pressed into canvas eaves.
  • STOVE JACK OPENING: 5 1/2 inches. 6-inch available by cutting out just before stitching the 6-inch pattern. The stove jack is located on the roof in the front left corner of your tent - 30" from the front door and 30" from the top of the sidewall.
  • SOD CLOTH: 10" sod cloth sewn onto the bottom of the wall. This acts as an air seal.
  • TENT BAG: Some companies charge $35 for a tent bag. We include it! It comes rolled up inside the lightweight canvas tent.
  • RIDGE OPENINGS FOR LODGE POLE: Flaps seal openings when lodge poles are not used.
  • FRONT ZIPPERED DOOR, YKK #10: The highest quality heavy-duty zipper made.
  • 200 FEET OF ROPE AND 20 TENSIONERS are rolled up inside the lightweight wall tent.
  • 5' SIDEWALLS provide much more headroom. Tents from other companies typically have 4’ 8” sidewalls. We also have 6’ sidewalls available as an upgrade. Walls are measured from the outside of the tent.
  • WINDOWS are 30" x 30" and have screens. Competitor tents have small triangle windows that provide much less ventilation.

We recommend that you read our Tent Set Up Location Guide before you set up your tent to avoid wind issues that can destroy your lightweight wall tent.

FIRE RESISTANT: Meets CPAI 84 fire retardant code. If a lightweight canvas tent is not specifically treated for fire resistance, it will burn quickly. Fire-resistant material will only burn when there is a flame source present on the canvas. When you remove the flame source, the synthetic wall tent will stop burning. However, there is no wall tent made that will not burn.

Synthetic Tent Options

  • ALUMINUM FRAMES are available. These frames are lightweight to match your lightweight wall tent. Click aluminum frames for pricing. Prices are significantly below competitors'. Aluminum tent frames will ship 2-3 days after purchase.
  • STANDARD FLY covers the entire roof and has a 1-foot overhang on each side to force any rain or snow 1 foot away from the roof. Stove jack area cut out and reinforced with webbing to match the stove pipe opening in the tent. Clear poly material - 100% UV protection. Fly has center ridge grommets on each end and grommets along the sides. Includes ropes, tensioners.
  • EXTENDED FLY is an 8' extension to the front of a normal fly. Provides a covered area for storage, a shaded area, or a rain barrier if you want to sit outside of your lightweight wall tent during inclement weather.
  • FLOOR: Loose synthetic floor. Grommets at corners for staking. The floor does not have a cutout area for the stove. It is best to have a continuous floor to keep bugs and water out when using your stove. Ensure you put non-flammable material under the stove. We have fireproof mats available for $35.
  • SEWN-IN SCREEN DOOR: Screen covers the entire width of the lightweight canvas tent. Some companies only provide a 5-6¹ wide screen area. Zippered with ties to tie the back screen door when not needed.
    • Only 2 variations of screen doors are available with our lightweight wall tents:
      • Front screen door, 2 side windows, and back window.
      • Front & Back screen door, 2 side windows, and back door.
  • WINDOWS are 30-inch x 30-inch with mesh screens. The flap covers the window when not in use. Zippers on the side of the flap with Velcro top make the window airtight. Side windows are required for any tent that has screen doors, as these tents are pre-made.
  • PORCH: Not currently available.
  • COOK SHACK: Not currently available.
  • SHIPPING BAGS for floors, fly, extended flys, porches, and cook shacks are not large enough to be used for storage bags.
  • STOVE JACK LOCATIONS: Front left corner of the roof. 30" from the front door & 30" from the top of the sidewall.

General Information

A FLY IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

A fly is a special tarp that extends the life expectancy of your lightweight wall tent. Also, there are thousands of needle holes in your tent, and occasionally a needle hole does not close when the tent is wetted down. The only way to ensure your tent does not leak is to put a fly on your tent.

A Message From Our Owner, Rich

It is much cheaper to repair a tent fly than a tent. A tent fly is a must on a synthetic lightweight canvas tent if using a wood stove to prevent possible spark holes. I use a fly on my synthetic tent at all times.

I price my flies approximately 25-50% below my competitors' to encourage individuals to use a fly to protect the roof of their lightweight wall tent.

RECOMMENDATION: ALWAYS KEEP YOUR TENT ROOF AND FLY TAUT SO WATER CAN QUICKLY BE REMOVED FROM YOUR TENT. Water can collect on the roof in an "eave trough," which is a low area just before the sidewall created by a not-tight roof or loose fly. Water collecting in an eave trough will freeze in cold weather and damage your tent.

FLY ADVANTAGES

  • SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES THE LIFE OF THE TENT BY PROTECTING THE ROOF. The roof is the first part of a tent that fails.
  • Prevents stove spark burn holes in the roof. It is much easier and cheaper to replace a fly, if necessary, than a lightweight wall tent.
  • Provides another moisture barrier to prevent leaks.
  • Protects the material from UV rays.
  • Keeps the roof clean. When camping under a tree, the tree may rain down dirt during rainstorms.
  • Prevents pitch and tar from getting on the roof. Removing tree pitch and tar requires a harsh detergent, which destroys the roof of the lightweight canvas tent.
  • Fly provides 1 foot overhang on each side of the tent, carrying water and snow 1 foot away from the side wall.
  • Water and snow slide off the fly quicker than a canvas roof, as the fly is completely smooth.
  • Provides some insulation value when there is an air gap between the fly and the roof.

TENTS ON PLATFORMS

I strongly recommend you read my recommendations regarding placing wall tents on a platform.

I also recommend tent frame leg supports on platforms that are screwed onto the platform. Wood platforms are smooth surfaces compared to the ground. You don't want to have the tent frame legs slide off a platform during high winds.

  • READ MY TENT INFO GUIDES. They provide detailed information on 20 different topics that will assist you in selecting the correct lightweight wall tent model and size to purchase.
  • CLICK TESTIMONIALS to read Wilderness testimonials from many satisfied hunters.
  • PLAN FOR A TENT STOVE TAKING UP 7' OF SPACE ALONG A WALL. This includes stove and heat standoff distances from the front wall and to a cot.
  • PURCHASING ALUMINUM TENT FRAME ANGLE KITS and then purchasing 1-inch inside diameter, thin-walled, aluminum 10 ' sections at a local hardware store can be the most economical approach to purchasing an internal frame. However, check with your local hardware stores about whether aluminum 1" tubing is available and the prices. In many instances, purchasing an aluminum tent frame is most economical.
  • MOST LIGHTWEIGHT WALL TENTS SIZES IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP. No sales tax and free shipping. Idaho residents must pay sales tax. I GUARANTEE THE ABOVE ITEMS WILL SHIP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY AS LONG AS YOU TELL ME YOU ARE IN A RUSH WHEN YOU ORDER. Sometimes these items can ship the same day if the order is received before 11:00 am Pacific time.
  • DETERMINING WHICH TENTS & SIZE TO BUY: The amount of square footage in a lightweight canvas tent increases tremendously when going up one size. Ensure you buy the size that fully meets your requirements. Compare the price difference % between the 2 sizes of lightweight wall tents you are considering vs the % increase in square footage gained by purchasing the larger size. The purchase price % increase will be significantly less than the % square footage increase.
  • Stove area requirement in a tent must be considered in all sizes of tents: You must plan on a stove taking up to 7 feet along a wall in all family camping tents. There is an automatic 2 + feet standoff from the front wall due to the stove jack location. The stove itself is normally around 2 feet in length. There is normally a 3-foot heat standoff distance from the stove before you can place a cot or table.
  • If you have trouble selecting between 2 different lightweight wall tent sizes, chalk out the different sizes on your driveway and then chalk out stove cots, tables, and any storage areas. Chalk out both sizes of tents side by side to see the significant difference between the two sizes. Hopefully, chalking tent sizes will help you make a decision.
    • One more note: We have never heard anyone say they wish they had purchased a smaller, lightweight canvas tent. The tent area fills up very quickly with all your cots, gear, and stove.
  • STOVE PIPE ABOVE RIDGE OF TENT: It is best to have your stove pipe long enough to extend at least 6 -12 inches or more above the tent ridge. Having the stove pipe above the lightweight wall tent ridge allows the wind coming from any direction to blow sparks away from the tent roof, thus reducing the possibility of spark holes being burnt in the roof.
    • If possible, try to position your lightweight canvas tent so the stove jack side is downwind from prevailing winds to reduce the possibility of sparks landing on the roof.
    • To ensure your stove pipe is above the ridge, buy a stove with 8' of stove pipe or buy extra stove pipe. Many stoves only have 6' 6" of pipe. Both our Wilderness stove and Yukon stove have 8' of pipe and have the extra-long 18" legs vs the 12" legs on other stoves.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of a synthetic canvas wall tent?

Synthetic lightweight wall tents, made from high-strength polyester, offer several advantages over traditional canvas:

  • Lightweight Strength: At 7 oz per square yard, the fabric is about twice as strong as most lightweight synthetic tents and even stronger than 10.1 oz canvas.
  • Fast Shipping & Easy Setup: Synthetic tents are lighter to handle, making setup and transport easier.
  • Weather Resistance: The material naturally resists mildew, dries faster after getting wet, and holds up well against rain when paired with a fly.
  • Durability: Reinforced ridges, taped seams, and webbing at stress points make them strong enough for long-term use while still being lighter than canvas.
  • No Shrinkage: Unlike canvas, synthetic material does not shrink after getting wet, so the fit stays consistent over time.

These features make synthetic lightweight wall tents a great option for hunters, outfitters, and campers looking for a strong, lightweight, quick-drying, and low-maintenance alternative to canvas.

Does the tent come with a sewn-in floor, and what material is it made of?

No, the lightweight wall tent does not come with a sewn-in floor. Instead, a loose synthetic or vinyl floor is available as an option for your lightweight canvas tent.

My house has never been so clean!
Size: 05-11S
As a neat freak, this has been one of my favorite purchases recently. Hands down. No doubt. Our house has seriously never felt so clean. With four boys coming and going, plus a cat, plus my wife and I both working out of the same house, this place gets dir-r-r-r-ty! But now, I just set this little baby up and get it goes to town. Note: the first several times that we used it, the machine's debris holding chamber was LOADED. We ran it until the battery died (and it returned to it's charger automatically), emptied it, and then ran it again as soon as it was fully charged. But each time that it ran, it was completely full! Every single time. None of us can believe how dirty we were living. Note #2: We now take it upstairs to do a deep cleaning there. We had a little bit of a learning curve to make sure that all of the electric cords and such were off the floor. (They untangle easily, btw, if you forget). My son with the cat had a room that used to smell terrible... it smells almost normal after we ran this several times through there. And the volume of cat hair that this thing picked up is crazy amazing. Hair that we didn't even see. I didn't know cat hair smalled badly, but it must've. Room smells pretty decent now (not perfect - there still is a smally boy living in there)! Note #3: We keep a pretty clean house. That is what is amazing about this thing. It makes it really clean. Note #4: After the first several runs, make sure that you clean the roller brush. It will make a difference. The tool that comes with the unit that looks like a comb does a great job. If you get hair or thread or similar wrapped around it, use the handy dandy letter opener-style cutter to easily and safely clean it out. The blue parts on bottom around roller remove easily for deep cleaning. Do it! Easy and worth it for better future results. Note #5: Does all types of floors really well. We have ceramic, vinyl, short carpet, marble, deep carpet - all on the first floor of our house --- NO PROBLEM for Eufy! It moves with ease between them all. Note #6: Problem areas? We have a screened in porch that has a door that allows tiny little leaves in under the door. I'll just set the Eufy out there and forget about it. When I see it again, the machine has run out of juice and the floor is perfectly clean. Or my basement office. Set it in there at the end of the day, close the door and forget about it. In the morning, the floors are clean and the machine is sleeping where it ran out of power. I take it back upstairs, empty the cannister, and put it back on the charger. Last note: It gets in tight spaces. It cleans edges beautifully. It spends more time on a room than we ever would, so I guess that is why it cleans so well. It gets under most of our furniture. Around most of our chairs. And oh - I almost forgot - this vacuum is SO-o-o-o quiet. With our upright, you can't hear yourself think. With this thing, I can be do my work uninterrupted. Disclaimer - I have wasted a lot of time just watching machine in amazement and awe! Thankfully I can now walk away from it - although the 7 sessions with a therapist to get me to break the habit were a pain. ;) I highly recommend the machine - if you couldn't already tell! I came back on to Amazon to buy a unit for my in-laws and saw the opportunity to avoid my job for a little bit to write this review! Funny, but I am glad that I did. This little fella is totally worth it. If you are thinking about which brand to buy, you can't go wrong with Eufy. Kudos to the manufacturer and development team! Note to manufacturer: Can you please develop a machine to automatically climb and clean stairs (cook, do toilets, do laundry)... ? People, you are going to love this vacuum!

Great robovac! We named ours “Robby the Robovac.”
Size: 06-15C Max
I hesitated for years to pull the trigger on getting a robot vacuum, and I shouldn’t have. If you are on the fence, get one. This thing has been worth the $250 in the first month, alone. (I compare it to a maid service fee.) It automates the simplest but most essential task of cleaning, because most dust and dirt ends up on the floor. It also forced me to finally tidy up all the wires and miscellaneous junk I had laying around on the floor, and thereby also eliminate areas where dust and dirt would accumulate, both of which were unexpected side benefits. It also frees up time to then wet mop and clean other places more easily, and tacitly helps me WANT to follow through with those final stages of cleaning that are easier because it takes care of the most time-intensive, initial stage of cleaning. It has been a life changer for us. The first week made the house smell a bit dusty because it kicked up all the latent dust from the corners, under furniture, and in the rugs. But once it got through that stage, the whole house looks and “feels” so much cleaner and smells nicer. Subtle but significant difference. I live in a one-story bungalow with mostly hardwoood or laminate floors, with a low-nap Berber floor covering in my master bedroom. I have a mid-size wire-hair dog who sheds normally, and it is perfect for picking up dog hair. I also have a nine year old son who adds to the dust and dirt. The suction is great on all of our surfaces. It works better than my stand-up “cyclonic” Hoover. Having three suction settings allows you to adjust the noise level depending on how clean you need the suction to be. The side brushes seem trite but definitely do work to help collect and”funnel” dirt into the collection bin. They also hit under furniture legs and walls edges to help collect the dirt that hides there. The collection bin does need to be emptied frequently (every few uses, especially when you first use it), but I look at that as letting me know what would have been on my floor if I didn’t have the unit. It is amazing how much it cleans off the floor even after the first wave of cleaning. The different cleaning modes are also well thought out: edge cleaning, spiral-spot cleaning, and random walk cleaning. I use the edge cleaning mode the most because dust and dirt tend to congregate along the edges. Three downsides that are probably fixed in higher end models. First, getting the app to work was unnecessarily frustrating and difficult because I forgot my exact WiFi password. The problem is that the interface requires you to go through about a five minute process for each “guess,” which made syncing to the app much more frustrating and unnecessarily slower than it should have been. Then with each failed attempt, I also had to also manually reset the entire unit by pressing the power button for 20 seconds. They should program it to test the password quickly so the entire syncing process does not take five minutes until you find out you typed the password incorrectly. (Especially because WiFi passwords are case-sensitive, so it is easy to mistype it). Once I typed the correct password and synced it, the problem was over, but it was frustrating and time consuming. Second, controlling the unit manually through the app is difficult because of the lag time in the signal through WiFi. So any time I manually steer the until, I use the remote and not the app. Not a big deal, but something to note. It is also too loud to schedule vacuuming at night. It woke us up the first three times it ran a scheduled overnight clean, partly because we keep our bedroom doors open at night. We are still on COVID lockdown, so I can’t just schedule it to run during the day while we are at work. So I just run it in the background during the day or when I leave to go to the store or take the dog for a walk. Nonetheless, none of those are dealbreakers, mostly just minor inconveniences that are acceptable at this price point. It still earns its five star rating for fulfilling its primary purpose and then some.

Life Changing, and Superb Customer Service
Size: 12, Size: 12
Hey folks. I bought this model of Eufy while on sale a little over six months ago, and have used it daily since. Thinking about buying one? Do it. No regrets here, and I wish I had purchased one when I first began thinking about it a year and a half ago. I live next to the Gulf Coast in Florida, and coastal living = constant sand. Fine, white quartz sand ends up in your home constantly regardless of how many rugs and floor mats you place at entranceways. Our home is completely tiled, and the powdery sand sticks to everything, so it’s a never ending battle keeping the floors clean. We used to sweep pretty much daily in the morning, and then use a hand vac around corners in the evening just to keep up with it. We also have one cat, a Great Pyrenees, and an English shepherd, so sweeping daily was necessary to keep fur from drifting into giant globs in corners and under furniture. After purchasing the Eufy, and charging it up, we no longer have to sweep every day. The eufy is simply fantastic at getting up all the pet fur and sand. Instead of sweeping every morning, I now stare off vacantly out the window while drinking my coffee, and the eufy sweeps for me. My five year old named our Eufy “Mumford” and we created a face cut out from a roll of white window cling vinyl (purchased the white vinyl window cling on amazon too- it’s meant for those Cricut machines) for the little guy. Mumford is now a treasured family member. For reference, my house is all tile and is about 1500 square feet. The eufy can clean our dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and playroom on a single charge, but since it doesn’t map out the rooms, I do place it in one room at a time, and block it off or shut the door. It does fine if I don’t block it off, but takes longer to get the job done. Since I keep the common areas clutter free, it is no trouble running the eufy every morning. I have my kiddos pick up anything on the floor, and then we hit the button and go about getting breakfast ready. If you are messier, or have a lot of clutter in your home- a Eufy probably isn’t the answer. It can’t do a good job if it isn’t able to roam around freely to vacuum. It fits under all of our furniture, and maneuvers well around my oak dining tables and chairs. If your home is very large and multi level, and you don’t want to pay attention - you may want something that maps your home. Eufy bumps around haphazardly, and when you leave it on long enough and run it consistently, it does a great job. I do not run it when we aren’t home, and I do not run it at night when we are sleeping. The last thing I want is for one of the dogs or the cat to get sick, and then have eufy run over the mess. Eeew. If you have pets, don’t make that mistake. If your home is larger than 1500 square feet, you’ll likely have to clean different sections at a time maybe on different days or nights of the week. Customer service is fantastic. After six months of daily use, our unit had a malfunction. The bumper on the right side would stick, and our unit would spin constantly clockwise. I contacted Eufy, and they did some troubleshooting with me, and when that didn’t fix the problem, I was sent a brand new unit. They emailed me a free return label to ship my old one back to them at no charge. All in all this is an excellent and helpful product, and the company that makes it is reliable and true to the warranty. I know several people that own one and love it, and have recommended it to friends and family members. Buy one!!!!!!

Cleans so you don't have to... QUIETLY
Size: 07-C30
I previously bought a Deebot for use on our main level floor, where we spend most of our time at home. It works great and connects with our Google Home. But we run it in the middle of the weekdays because it's pretty noisy. Still, we really like the benefits of a robotic vacuum. So, we thought we might try it on our lower level. I set it up downstairs, but found that, while it seemed to pick up dirt, the back end bounced quite a bit over the berber carpet, which isn't an issue on the main floor which is hardwood with only one entry rug. So, we went about looking for an alternative for downstairs. We really wanted something that can connect with our Google Home, so that limited our options within our budget. There were lots of great reviews of iRobot products for carpet, but I had a hard time with the price. There were a few other brands, as well, but they were obscure brands, and I didn't want to be stuck with an expensive vacuum and no customer service. Eufy was a brand I kept in mind as I shopped because we'd had a lot of experience with their parent brand, Anker. They've always sold us a great product at a reasonable price, and importantly, if a product failed for any reason, we'd experienced great customer service. I finally decided I'd pull the trigger on the RoboVac 30C because it had the features we wanted. I ordered it from Amazon on Thanksgiving with a bunch of other stuff I wanted to get. I was a bit disappointed that there was no Black Friday pricing, but it was still very competitive over the deeply discounted Roomba models *(see below). It arrived on Sunday, so very quick shipping via Amazon Prime. We set it up right away. The first, VERY OBVIOUS thing we noticed... It's quiet* (see below). Way quieter than the Deebot. As we had hoped, it also picked up dirt from the carpet easily and without bouncing. The magnetic strips also helped to avoid another pitfall of the Deebot... We have these chairs with unusual bases that are low enough on the edges for the vacuums to drive themselves up on, then there's a hole about 3 inches from the edge that creates a cliff for the vacuum to get hung up on. Both vacuums will do that, but the Eufy 30C has those strips which it won't cross. Put the strips around the base of the chairs, and no hangups. The only issue right now is that, unfortunately, the Eufy app doesn't play with Google Home very well. We are assuming that will get fixed. And if it doesn't, the app works pretty well as a stand alone, which is the next best thing, so I won't dock any stars for that. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this vacuum so far. It does clean very well and doesn't have any problem doing approximately 400 square feet on a single charge around furniture and other odds and ends on the floor. *Customer service : Many vendors will contact Amazon customers shortly after purchase of one of their products to make sure all is well. Eufy did this. I thought I'd give them a preliminary review because I wanted to let them know that things were going well so far. I mentioned that it worked great (didn't know about the Google home issue, yet, but I was overall pleased). I mentioned as an aside that it was a tiny bit annoying that it arrived on Sunday and the Cyber Monday deal made a significant price difference. Still, I liked it enough that I wasn't going to be too annoyed. I certainly wasn't going to try to return it and buy it again to get the better price. A couple days later, they thanked me for my comments... And refunded me the difference in price. They definitely didn't have to. But it was pretty awesome of them. *Noise level: My hubby set up the schedule for the RoboVac 30C. He decided to go with the same schedule as the Deebot, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the middle of the day. But instead of setting it up for 12:01 pm, he set it for am. It was running in the middle of the night and we didn't know it for 2+ weeks. I discovered it when I decided to make sure to have the app on my phone too and saw the scheduling error. To be fair, we sleep on the upper level of our modified split level house and the RoboVac is on the lower level, but I have ears like a bat, and had no idea. And yes, it's cleaning - - I've been cleaning out the dust bin for it regularly. Definitely wouldn't have been that way with the Deebot. So, yeah. It's quiet.

My little OCD cleaner - 2020 One Year UPDATE
Size: eufy 30
One year update: I bought my 2 Eufys Aug. 2019 and use them once a week or every two weeks and have come across some quirks. The most recent quirk is Eufy just stopping in the middle of a room with the blue light still on and no error beeps. Apparently, it stops for no reason. I hit the remote start and it continues its job. Another quirk is stopping and beeping with blinking light for some reason (keep your manual handy) and once was because of the front Pivot wheel not moving because of hair being wound around it. I popped the wheel off, cleaned out the hair, reset Eufy by pushing the reset button on the bottom and it then worked fine. Another quirk was getting to the stairs and for some reason couldn't turn around and started beeping. That time I just wiped the three sensors on the bottom and reset it and it was fine after that. One day, it just continually stopped for no reason that I could find. It just stops, no beeping and still fully charged. I just kept resetting it with the bottom reset button until it finally finished the room. That happened about 10 times that day. Over the winter, I had a stray cat decide she wanted to live with me, so now I have a cat with long hair and she sheds a lot. Eufy doesn't pick up large tufts of her hair from my rugs, so I use a hair mit on the worst spots on my rugs and then Eufy does a fine job on the rugs. Another tip, try using your magnet strips to divide up larger rooms. I ended up having to do that in my living room because otherwise it took forever for Eufy to hit every area. Now I divide it in half. When one half looks complete, I pick up Eufy and put it in the other half. That works well! Also, your magnet strips can be stuck to the side of your refrigerator for storage! I find that very handy. :) You really do need to clean Eufy between charges. I have my system broken down into Living room and kitchen. Clean and charge (about 4.5 hours), then the hallway, bathroom, bedroom. Clean it and charge. Then lastly, my office/sewing room. Clean it and charge. It takes only 5- 10 minutes to clean it between uses. I'm still thrilled I have these Eufys and have decided I will never be without a Robo Vac - ever. And hopefully Eufy will still be around when I need a replacement. I bought these partly because of the Anker name. I've bought other Anker products for years and they're always made well. End of update. I bought two of these yesterday with the Deal of the day and received them today. They both took about 3 hours to fully charge and then it was off to the races. One went downstairs and the other one upstairs. I left the Eufy downstairs in the basement to do its thing on low pile carpet and tile and went down to check on it periodically. Twice I found it stuck in strange places. One was on top of a small table base and the other was lodged next to my furnace. I'll just have to block those two areas next time. The one upstairs was in my kitchen for a good 45 minutes to an hour! OCD I'd say, but my kitchen is nice and clean. :) Rugs included. These do an excellent job with edge cleaning. The one in the kitchen miraculously followed the curves in the pedestal base on the table. Pretty cool. It also traveled over all my wood floor vent covers which is pretty impressive because they're pretty thick! It also fits under most of my furniture. I sent a Roomba back years ago because it wouldn't fit under my sofa, loveseat and tables. That made it useless for me. These fit under everything except a lowboy chest and 3 smaller tables in my living room...Swiffer will take care of those. The drop sensors worked perfectly at the stairs. It turned around instead of going down. The upstairs Eufy finished my kitchen, living room, entryway and was in the bathroom when the red light came on and is now charging. Both Eufys ran for the 100 minutes as stated in the manual. I emptied the upstairs bin twice, but only because I had stopped the Eufy to get it out of the kitchen and before I sent it to charge. The bin wasn't full either time, but had plenty of dirt and fuzz in it, so I'm happy with that! I decided I'm not programming a schedule because I don't need my house cleaned daily. It's just me here and no pets anymore, so I will manually turn them on once or twice a week. I did pick EVERYTHING up off my floors for this first cleaning, but that's just not ever going to happen again. It was a PIA and I could have vacuumed my entire house in the time it took to clear the floors. I'll leave the cords zip tied, but everything else is staying put next time. All that work defeats the purpose of having these. I am THRILLED TO DEATH with these though. Vacuuming is one of my least favorite chores. These will definitely be used weekly and I look forward to watching them work instead of me! Also, these are sooooo quiet. You can't even hear where they are in the same room as you if they're cleaning underneath something. I'm so glad I bought them and at an excellent price. The exorbitantly expensive robo vacs are just not feasible for me. Maybe if they had a 20 year life span, they would be, but they don't. I'm also not into controlling everything through a stupid app or WiFi. Don't need those and don't want those. I don't need NHS knowing when I'm vacuuming my house. These were worth every cent, IMO Great little vacs!
